Separately, we’ve been camping and seeking adventures our entire lives. Together, we’ve been weekend warriors for four years. Countless hours of designing and building and three 4x4 rig set ups later, we’re roaming around in our 2019 Mercedes Sprinter 4x4! Deciding that we want to expand our adventures to the water, we’re now taking on the world of sailing with our new to us 1978 Tayana Mariner 36!

We’ve built Cecilia from scratch and while she isn’t done yet we couldn’t wait to hit the road and start enjoying the fruits of our labor. One day we’ll finish her, but for now we’d rather be enjoying all the places we can go.

She’s not new, but she’s new to us, and we’re excited to be breathing some life back into her sails and diving straight into the marine world. We may be in over our heads but the water feels great.
